Developer's Note:

Hey there! This is my submission to Matt Aspland's Fusion Frenzy Game Jam!

The theme is Dimensional Duality. And I have to fuse two game genres.

So I've crafted a game that fuses First Person Action-Platformer with Top-Down Twin-Stick Shooter. The Dimensional Duality is expressed through a literal switch from 3D to 2D, but also figuratively as a switch from the physical dimension to an almost spiritual/deeply digital dimension. Also the fact that you, the Player, are a character in the story.

By playing this game, YOU are the hacker. Once you hack into the system, you play as an avatar, but be careful, if you lose possession of your avatar, you will lose connection to the server and will get ejected from the program.

even though I feel like I messed up some of it, I could definitely feel the vision of what it was! it felt like a deeper world then you'd expect from a 2 week game jam game, Good job man!

I actually just looked at the trailer now and I'm realizing my problem was not using the double jump in the way intended (I think)

Thanks for playing! I really appreciate the feedback, and seeing you play it helps too, that way I can see if it makes sense to anyone else haha!
I'll update this game in the future and tweak the wall jump mechanic, or at least show the player how to use it to it's fullest
